FAULT LINE I & FAULT LINE II: is made up of two (36” x 40”) gallery canvases. Together they can create a diptych or if preferred could hang independent of one another. A fault is a fracture in a volume of rock as a result of rock mass movement. Pressure changes cause precious metals, gold veins and fissures to create an organic colour palette under our Earth’s crust each time it moves. In helping to create this feeling I used Gold Mica Flake, Glass Bead Gel, Course Alumina and Iridescent and Bright Fine Gold.
